中石化苗栗廠傳工安意外 檢修員遭煤炭掩埋亡
中石化苗栗頭份廠區今天(1日)發生工安意外，一名人氣產品排行榜檢修員在檢修煤炭輸送機時，遭輸送帶上的煤炭掩埋，經搶救脫困時已無生命跡象，送醫不治，事故原因仍待進一步調查。
苗栗縣消防局指出，下午1時45分接獲報案，位於頭份市的中石化廠區發生工人遭煤炭掩埋意外，立即派救護人車及器材車趕往救援，到場時，發現一名工人受困距離地面約15公尺的運送管道間內，遭煤炭掩埋。
消防局表示，據中石化廠區人員描述，因煤倉內的煤炭輸送機故障，30歲蕭姓檢修員在約15公尺高的運送管道間內檢修輸送帶時，不慎被輸送帶上的煤炭掩埋。
為協助傷者脫困，消防隊請廠區人員以乙炔切割機切開鋼板，並架設滑輪組，以籃式擔架將蕭男由高處送至地面，但當時已呈OHCA(到院前心肺功能停止)，隨即由救護車送往為恭醫院搶救，仍宣告不治。
事發後，中石化主管代表公司慰問家屬，允諾提供必要協助，同時啟動內部調查，希望釐清事發原因。（中央社）
廢棄礦湖釣魚…17歲少年墜水 6消防員捲恐怖漩渦「集體溺斃」
恐怖漩渦，連專業消防員都接連捲入喪命！日前馬來西亞發生一起溺水意外，一名少年在湖邊釣魚，不慎跌落水中，6名消防員火速抵達救援，卻不幸捲入漩渦，當下無法脫身，湖邊同事們眼睜睜看著6位同仁拼命掙扎，等到救上岸後都已無生命跡象。而墜湖少年最後也被尋獲，但已是一具冰冷屍體，家屬崩潰痛哭。

面對這起集體溺斃意外，失蹤少年的父親非常自責，他表示，早已勸過兒子不要去礦湖釣魚，沒想到愛子下落不明，還害得6名消防人員殉職。對此，馬國消防局高層指出，這是今年首起消防員集體殉職的事件，「這是悲傷的一天」，並在昨（4）日舉辦告別追思，以伊斯蘭式祈禱與敬禮儀式，並在靈柩上覆蓋國旗，以表揚亡者對這次事件的犧牲，盼望死者一路好走，場面一片哀悽。
而當天（4日）傍晚，少年遺體在距離案發地點不遠處的河流域被尋獲，目前警方已將遺體送往當地醫院解剖，以進一步釐清死因。
